最近有了新的笔记本，自己装了Windows XP Pro，然后安装MSN Messenger，但是发现这样一个问题：输入电子邮件地址非常慢，然后根本不能登陆，出现80040111 这样的错误（如果有 80040154 错误，可能是其他的情况会出现，我没有遇到。下面错误的解决方法为软件的程序设计者提供。）运用下面的方法可以解决问题。主要这样的问题还不是我一个碰到，一位同事遇到同样的问题，还是通过google找到了答案。请看：

MSXML library may be corrupted and may have to be reinstalled.
原来是文件库损坏了！

Troubleshooting steps: 解决方法

Please try the following to resolve the issue:

Step 1. Re-register msxml3.dll

a. Click on the Start menu, select Run and type the following:
运行下面这行命令，拷到运行框中。Regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml3.dll

b. hopefully, you will see a window popup that says
然后窗口出现提示：

DllRegisterServer succeeded in C:\Windows\System32\msxml3.dll is
succeeded.

If this fails proceed to next step and if successful
proceed to Step 3，到此我的问题解决了。如果你的问题还没有解决，接着看下去！

Step 2. Reinstall MSXML3

a. Go here.

b. At the bottom of the page click on the link to
msxml3.msi and move through the steps to complete installation.

Step 3. Restart your computer and sign into Messenger again. 重启电脑然后登陆

Step 4. If this does not resolve the issue.

如果问题还没有解决，到微软下载文件，然后安装，应该可以解决问题了！如果还不行，就要专门发邮件给程序设计者了。如何找到她，google “I’m just the messenger”
